Overview
Bezel is a pledge layer for Stock Tokens on Robinhood Chain.
A holder mounts Stock Tokens, such as $NVDA, $AAPL or $TSLA, once into their own Bezel vault. The tokens never leave the vault. Protocols do not take custody. They place prongs on the vault.
One stone. Many prongs. Never moves.
Terms#
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Vault | A non-custodial contract that holds one wallet's mounted Stock Tokens. One vault per wallet. |
| Mount | Deposit Stock Tokens into your vault. Done once. |
| Prong | A capped, conditional claim on N tokens in a vault. It has a trigger, an expiry and a seniority rank. |
| Trigger | The on-chain condition that lets a prong execute. |
| Seniority | The rank that orders settlement. Rank 1 settles first. |
| Free remainder | Tokens held minus tokens claimed. Freely transferable by the holder. |
Rules#
- The sum of all prong claims is always less than or equal to the tokens held.
- Incompatible prong combinations are rejected by the contract. A share can be lent and covered by a call, never sold twice.
- The holder keeps dividends, corporate actions and free transfer of the unencumbered remainder.
- A prong executes only with on-chain proof of its trigger, during market hours.
- If the issuer pauses the token or the Chainlink feed is frozen, all prongs on that asset freeze. Nothing can be seized.
- Prongs are settled by seniority.
Who does what#
- Holders mount tokens and consent to prongs.
- Protocols (lenders, options desks, clubs) stake $BZL, place prongs, pay the prong fee and prove triggers.
- The contract enforces the cap, compatibility, market hours, freezes and seniority.
Status#
Bezel is pre-launch. $BZL is not launched. No contract address has been published. Addresses will be posted only on @Bezel_rwa.
